KUROA and aoshi

⠀⠀⠀Kuroa and Aoshi are twins born from the element "kaous", a mysterious force that makes up the Void. Some dimensions have found ways to harness this power, others are ignorant to its existence entirely.

⠀⠀⠀The older sister Kuroa is short-tempered and irritable. Despite being born only a few minutes before Aoshi, she considers herself the sole bearer of responsibility in the pair. She defends Aoshi vehemently, and takes matters regarding him very seriously. She has trouble dealing with others due to her distant nature.

⠀⠀⠀The younger brother Aoshi is still distant but more agreeable, and rarely becomes angry with other people. He worries for Kuroa, and wishes that he could do more to help her. The only certain way to upset Aoshi is to hurt Kuroa in some way, and if that happens Aoshi will lose control of his kaous and destroy the environment around him.

⠀⠀⠀Both twins are quiet and don't go out of their way to meet new people. They've been sent to Earth with some kind of purpose, but it's unclear what that purpose is.

"SHIKUON" is the unit name for the official mascots of irunabara, Aoshi and Kuroa. It is not a surname.

The official spellings for SHIKUON are:
Kanji: 白黒音、黒赤、蒼白
Hiragana: しくおん、くろあ、あおし
Katakana: シクオン、クロア、アオシ
Romanized: SHIKUON, Kuroa, Aoshi

白黒音 and SHIKUON are the official brand names. しくおん is mainly to clarify how the kanji are read, and シクオン is mainly used in reference.
Any spelling can be used to refer to Aoshi or Kuroa, but in content made with them it's best to use 黒赤・蒼白 or Kuroa/Aoshi.

The items Aoshi and Kuroa carry are controlled via telekinesis, and can be sent into a pocket dimension at any time for safe-keeping. The dimension functions somewhat like their house, and other beings cannot enter it.

Kuroa and Aoshi do not have a specific age, but they are somewhere in the teenage years. They are minors, and as such there are restrictions on what kind of content can be made with them. Please read their character guidelines for more information.

Kaous is a chaotic element, and because Kuroa and Aoshi are made of solidified kaous, the material of their outfits does not follow normal rules:

Red: Organic material that is part of the body
Purple: Organic material that isn't part of the body
Blue: Koulium, a metal-like substance that is durable but lightweight
Green: Kaouline, crystalized kaous.

The type of material can change gradually in different areas, because they're all just different forms of kaous. The areas not highlighted in the graphic are also made of kaous, but the material is similar to what would be expected (skin, hair, cloth, leather shoes).
The wings on Aoshi and Kuroas' heads are part of their body, and can unfurl. They cannot be used to fly. Despite being made of koulium, the part that connects the wings on the back of the head cannot be removed.

SHIKUON is the property of irunabara. Aoshi and Kuroa are the official mascots of his content, and so their terms of use are more restrictive than other characters created by irunabara.
